Raquel Silva is a GMP-specialist and experienced researcher with a strong background in quality assurance, research analysis, and process optimization in biomedical, pharmaceutical, biochemistry, and nanotechnology fields. Currently working at BWT Pharma & Biotech since September 2021, Raquel has prior experience as a Senior Research Scientist in both the Institute for Biomaterials at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and while on maternity leave. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biomaterials, an MSc in Textile Chemistry, and a degree in Chemistry from Universidade do Minho. Raquel possesses extensive knowledge of various technical procedures and has a proven track record in engineering tissue and developing biomaterials for biomedical applications.
