Edward Carey has a long and varied career in finance, starting with an internship at CACEIS in 2009. After completing their Chartered Accountancy (CA) professional qualification with Ernst & Young in 2011, they became an Assurance Executive within the Asset Management team. In 2016, they Co-Founded Pangolin Property, a business which manages a portfolio of studios for rent by undergraduates spending their years abroad in Paris. That same year, they also became the General Manager, London for Hostmaker, a tech enabled full-service home rentals management company. In 2014, they joined onefinestay as the Cities Accountant - Europe and oversaw two cross-border statutory audits of four entities. Finally, in 2018, they joined Butternut Box as the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director of their freshly prepared dog food business.
Edward Carey began their educational endeavors in 2001 when they attended Winchester College. Edward then attended the University of Bristol from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelors degree in French. In 2011, Edward attended ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs, where they earned a CA in Accounting.
