Marshall Bowen is an experienced appellate lawyer currently employed by Butler Snow LLP since August 2020, where responsibilities include full merits briefing in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Texas, alongside pre-trial legal analysis from an appellate perspective. Prior experience includes serving as a judicial law clerk for Justice Paul Green at the Supreme Court of Texas and Judge Kevin Patrick Yeary at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Marshall has also gained experience as a summer law clerk with the Texas Attorney General and in various judicial intern roles across U.S. courts. An academic background includes a Juris Doctor and a Master of Arts in Theology from St. Mary's University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Marshall's early career featured roles in legislative and press office assistance within the Texas House of Representatives.
