Melanie Wade is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as General Counsel at Busy Bees Early Learning since August 2022, Melanie previously held the position of University Solicitor (Head of Legal) at CQUniversity, managing the legal team until August 2022. Prior roles include Group Corporate Counsel at Tandem Corp and Senior Legal Counsel at Energy Queensland, focusing on electricity law, regulation, and compliance. Melanie also served as Senior Legal Counsel at ActewAGL, where responsibilities encompassed energy regulation and consumer law. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Trade and Commerce Law from Macquarie University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Canberra.
