Adam Smith has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to present. Adam began their career in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Operator, where they gained valuable technical skills. After their service, Adam worked as a Computer Technician at Satilla Computer Solutions, specializing in custom computer builds, system installation, and maintenance.

In 2012, Adam joined Metropolitan State University of Denver as a Tutor, providing academic assistance to students. Following this, they joined Recondo Technology as an Intern, where they gained experience in software development and testing. Adam progressed to the role of Jr. Software Engineer, focusing on Java EE development, bug fixes, and dynamic website development. Additionally, Adam was responsible for automated UI testing.

In 2017, Adam joined Businessolver as a Software Engineer II, where they developed new features for the ETL system and played a crucial role in creating import and export configurations. Adam later became a Software Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers and overseeing the development of a benefits administration software service. Adam designed and implemented an in-house rules engine to support the service's configurability requirements.

Currently, Adam holds the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Businessolver. Adam provides technical guidance and leadership to two teams of engineers, ensuring effective technical guidance and facilitating career growth. Adam's expertise in engineering best practices and commitment to supporting their team's success are assets to the organization.

Adam Smith earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver, graduating in 2017. Prior to this, they attended Thomas Edison State University from 2011 to 2012, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. In 2002 and 2003, they also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham without completing a degree or specifying a field of study.
