Gary Van Huffel is a semi-retired professional with a diverse background in project administration and management, particularly in project design, construction quality assurance/quality control, and field changes. Since November 2017, Gary has been self-employed while actively managing Oregon's Industrial Lands Readiness programs for Business Oregon since July 2010. Previous roles include Recruitment & Business Development Manager at OBDD from January 2009 to June 2010 and Oregon Main Street Coordinator with the City of Salmon, ID from January 2006 to December 2008, where responsibilities included serving as City Administrator and overseeing urban renewal efforts. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned between 1971 and 1975.
