Bernice Gapfasoni is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistante de projet RRC (Réduction des Risques de Catastrophes) at OIM - ONU Migration since October 2019, while also working as an NFI/Shelter/WASH Admin. Assistant. In addition, Bernice has been a Community Volunteer with Croix Rouge Du Burundi since January 2012. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes founding Fit Spirit from October 2017 to April 2021. Bernice gained valuable skills as a PBF (Peace Building Fund) Intern at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from June to October 2019. Academically, Bernice holds a Master's degree in International Cooperation & Humanitarian Aid from Kalu Institute (2020-2021), a Certificate in Peer Counselling from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (2017-2018), and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Political Science from the same institution (2015-2018), along with leadership training from Word of Faith Bible Institute.
