Jana Townsend is an experienced school counselor currently serving Pre-K through 2nd grade students at Burnet Consolidated ISD since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jana held a similar position at Killeen ISD from August 2016 to September 2021 and worked as a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Copperas Cove ISD from July 2007 to August 2016, facilitating courses such as Interpersonal Studies and Counseling. In addition to their educational career, Jana is the owner of The Shoppe on Key Avenue since May 2011. Jana earned a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Human Sciences from Tarleton State University, where Jana also served as a Graduate Assistant in Student Disability Services.
