Tony Hughes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tony began their career at Canon Business Solutions in 1992, where they held the position of Director of Accounting. In this role, they were responsible for various finance and accounting functions, including project management and overseeing the merger of a conglomerate. Hughes then joined Broder Bros in 2005 as Corporate Controller, where they managed finance, accounting, and treasury operations. Tony also implemented controls for inventory and distribution systems. In 2007, they moved to Charming Shoppes as Vice President of Finance and Shared Services, overseeing finance, accounting, and HR operations. This role involved managing relationships with outsource and vendor partners and executing the design and implementation of a new product. Most recently, Hughes worked at Burlington Stores, Inc. as Vice President of Accounting Operations since 2014.

Tony Hughes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Marketing from Temple University from 1980 to 1984. Tony later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from Temple University between 1995 and 1997.
