BCE helps Burlingame School District (BSD) sustain and enhance an exceptional public education for all TK-8th grade students. Working together with parents, the school district, and community, we provide BSD with financial resources to create a rich and inspiring education for our children beyond what is possible with public funds.

BCE staff includes 1 full-time Executive Director & 3 part-time staff focused in specific functional areas.  We are a small but mighty team.

The Leadership Team at the Burlingame Community Education Foundation is responsible for strategic planning and oversight of initiatives that support and enhance educational opportunities within the Burlingame School District. This team coordinates fundraising events, fosters community partnerships, and advocates for programs that benefit students and schools, ensuring the foundation's mission aligns with the needs of the community and the district.

Leadership Team

The Site Directors at Burlingame Community Education Foundation coordinate and oversee BCE-related activities and initiatives at their respective school sites within the Burlingame School District. They ensure effective communication between the foundation, school administrators, and the community to enhance and support exceptional public education in their schools.

BCE is primarily volunteer-led but staff is critical in providing continuity and the support our volunteers need in all areas related to operations, compliance, events and outreach.  BCE's staff wear many hats and embody the flexibility and adaptability necessary to enable the vital work it takes to raise our annual grant.  We are proud to say that BCE's staff are current or former BSD parents.
