Daniel Chiong possesses extensive experience in asset integrity and structural engineering, currently serving as the Asset Integrity Australia Regional Lead at Alcoa since April 2022. Previously, Daniel held key positions at Bureau Veritas Group, where responsibilities included leading the Structural Integrity Team and serving as a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer. At Rio Tinto, Daniel managed projects within the Sustaining Capital group, focusing on structural integrity repairs across Eastern Mine Sites. Daniel's earlier career includes a role as a Structural Engineer at Bureau Veritas, conducting inspections and risk assessments on mining infrastructure, and experience as a Project Coordinator at YWP Builders. Daniel began as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz, engaging in industrial structure design. Daniel holds an Engineer's Degree in Civil and Construction Engineering from Curtin University.
