Fiona Smith is currently the Satellite Data Assimilation Team Leader and Senior Research Scientist at the Bureau of Meteorology. Prior to this, Fiona worked as an Expert Scientist at the Met Office for almost two decades. Fiona holds a PhD in Earth Observation from the University of Leicester, an MSc in Remote Sensing from the University of London, and a MA MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
