Christopher P. McDonald is an experienced professional in land survey and management, currently serving as the Public Land Survey System Dataset (PLSSDS) Program Manager at the Bureau of Land Management since June 2009. With a comprehensive oversight role as the Acting Field Manager at the BLM Alaska, Eastern Interior Field Office, McDonald manages various programs, including energy, wildlife habitat, and cultural resources. Previous positions include BLM Indian Land Surveyor, Acting Chief Cadastral for BLM New Mexico, and Cadastral Surveyor, demonstrating expertise in land tenure issues and survey methodologies.
