Cobus Venter serves as the Manager of macro services at the Bureau for Economic Research (BER) since 2015, overseeing a subscription service utilized by over 160 clients and fulfilling bespoke research requests. Venter has a longstanding role as Director at Brigadiers Group and has been a Consulting Economist at BER since 2008. Previous experience includes being the CEO of Vulacoin Kft in Hungary, Chief Economist at Stellenbosch Economics, and Non-Executive Director at Happimo. Venter has also held directorships at Econex and managed South Africa's oldest hotel, d'Ouwe Werf Hotel. Venter holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch and is pursuing an Executive Program at Singularity University.
