Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a seasoned professional in the finance industry with extensive experience in asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Currently serving as a Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, Liu has progressed through various roles, including Director, Vice President, and Associate, all focused on ABS and CDO trading. Prior to Guggenheim Securities, Liu worked as an Analyst at Citadel LLC from July 2008 to February 2011 and gained initial experience as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in 2007. Academically, Liu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, completed in 2009.
