Tobias Schmittner has more than 20 years of experience in various finance and business development roles. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Tobias then joined AIRDATA AG as a Business Development professional from 2003 to 2006. Tobias subsequently worked at entavio GmbH, where they focused on CRM Planning & Development from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Multiplast AG as a Project Manager, responsible for finance, business development, and strategy controlling. In 2009, they moved to Drossbach GmbH & Co. KG as Director of Finance until 2013. Currently, Tobias holds the position of Director Finance & Controlling (CFO) for BurdaDruck at Hubert Burda Media. Tobias started as a Senior Corporate Controller for the same company in 2014 and was promoted in August 2018 to their current role.

Tobias Schmittner began their education in 1993 at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they pursued a degree in Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (Elektrotechnik) with a focus on Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. Tobias completed their studies in 1999. In 1997, they also had a brief academic experience at Eindhoven University of Technology, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time.
