Emily Woosley has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance. Emily worked as a Director Of Accounting at BUNN from 2018 onwards. In 2020, they joined Springfield Clinic in the same role. Prior to that, they held various positions at H. D. Smith, including Vice President, Controller, Controller, Interim Controller, Manager Corporate Accounting, Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, and Staff Accountant. Emily also worked as a Staff Accountant at Kerber, Eck, and Braeckel from 2008 to 2009.

Emily Woosley attended Illinois Wesleyan University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Illinois Springfield from 2010 to 2013.
