Sophie O'Brien is an accomplished professional in the field of curatorial and arts management, currently serving as the Head of Curatorial & Learning at Bundanon Trust since February 2020. O'Brien has a diverse background, having held significant positions such as Head of Exhibitions, Collections and Programs at Govett-Brewster Art Gallery and Senior Exhibitions Curator at Serpentine Gallery. Previous roles include Curator of Contemporary Art at TATE Britain and Exhibitions Manager & Co-curator for the Australian Pavilions at the Biennale di Venezia through the Australia Council for the Arts. O'Brien's expertise extends back to the early 2000s, where roles included Head of Exhibitions at the Biennale of Sydney and Curator for the Perth International Arts Festival. O'Brien's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Directing Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts.
