Markus Müller is an advisor at Bunch. Prior to that, they were the head of product management at Circ, a leading player in kick scooter sharing in Europe that was acquired by Bird in early 2020. Markus built the product, tech and data team from the ground up and grew it to a department of over 8 squads with over 80 people within less than a year. Markus also led a team of over 8 product managers responsible for the consumer mobile apps, 3rd party APIs and the business platform that executed more than 5 million rides in 12 countries and operated fleets of scooters in 40 cities with top of the industry, in-house developed, operation tools (including a mobile and web application). In addition, Markus was closely involved in key decisions around the scooter IoT (scooter connectivity module) and collaborated with the hardware manufacturing, supply chain and industrial design designers for specification of future scooter models. Markus also introduced and was the process owner of OKRs within the product & tech department and was the owner of the overarching company wide software product roadmap. Markus reported first to the CEO and later to the CTO.
Markus Müller's educational career began with him studying business administration at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Markus then went on to study at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they specialized in entrepreneurship and management. After that, they attended Commercial academy 1 Klagenfurt, where they studied business administration.
