Gilbert Medina

Head of Creative Services at Bullock Texas State History Museum

Gilberto Medina serves as the Head of Creative Services at the Bullock Texas State History Museum since January 2007, overseeing the overall quality and creative vision for the institution while leading and mentoring the Creative team. Previously, Medina worked as an Information Specialist at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from July 1994 to January 2007, where responsibilities included designing creative materials to promote Texas state parks and conservation efforts. During this tenure, Medina achieved recognition by winning first place in the ACI Awards for interpretive brochure designs in 2003 and 2004, and second place in 2002 for the “Keep Texas Wild” license plate campaign, while also playing a significant role in the implementation of lasting workflow technologies.
