Margarita Angelova has over two decades of experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of the Bank Analyses Division within the Macro-prudential Supervision and Financial Stability Directorate at the Bulgarian National Bank since April 2004. Previously, Margarita held the position of Chief Banking Supervision Inspector at the Macro-prudential Analysis and Strategy Directorate. Margarita's career at the Bulgarian National Bank began in 1996 in the Statistics Directorate and continued until 2004. Margarita holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
