Edith Sumaquial has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Edith started their career in 2002 as an Editorial Intern at Dazed and Confused Magazine, where they gained experience in sub-editing, fact-checking, reporting, and interviewing. Edith then worked as an Arts and Entertainment Editor at Jade Magazine, Inc, where they focused on feature articles and served as a film, theatre, and music critic.

In 2006, Edith joined Content Kings Media Group as a Web Copywriter, where they incorporated Search Engine Optimization (SEO) methods into content creation and produced inbound marketing materials for various industries. Edith later transitioned to Clear Channel Communications, where they worked as a Sr. Online Producer for multiple radio stations, including 102.7 KIISfm, 98.7, 104.3 MYfm, KOST & HOT 92.3. In this role, they significantly increased page views for A-Level events through social media integration and engagement.

From 2011 to 2013, Edith worked at Gannett as a Marketing and Operations Area Manager for DealChicken.com. Edith then became an Innovation Strategy Lead/Lean Practitioner, utilizing Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking to optimize processes and develop efficient experiences. Finally, they became a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt 3, providing executive facilitation on organizational processes and serving as the Women in Wine and Spirits Social Chair.
