Ivan Melnychenko has a strong background in software engineering and web development. Their most recent role was as a Software Engineer at BuildOps, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Red Thread Innovations, where they designed, built, and maintained various applications using a React and NodeJS stack for notable brands such as Tim Hortons, CapitalOne, RBC, Telus, and Walgreens. Ivan also gained experience as a Frontend Developer at Bitstocks, where they worked on a cryptocurrency trading app with a strong focus on security. In addition, they worked as a Web Developer at UniCanDo GmbH, where they spearheaded the implementation of a modern React-based architecture and managed the backend service using the Serverless framework and AWS lambda functions. Earlier in their career, Ivan collaborated on the architectural planning of multiple high-profile products at Wideweb Studio.

Ivan Melnychenko received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Odessa National Polytechnic University from 2014 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in German Language and Literature at the same university. In 2018, Ivan attended Hillel IT School and completed a program in Front-end Development. In 2019, they attended Hillel IT School again and studied React Development.

In terms of additional certifications, Ivan obtained the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" from World Education Services in May 2021. Ivan also received a certification in "React Development" from Hillel IT School in June 2019 and a certification in "Frontend-Pro" from Hillel IT School in December 2018. Additionally, Ivan obtained an Overall Band Score of 7.5 on the IELTS General Training exam in August 2021.
