Ben Cushman is a seasoned leader with extensive experience serving on various boards and committees in the education, humanitarian, and nonprofit sectors. Currently, Cushman holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Building Markets, which focuses on creating job opportunities in crisis-affected areas. Additional roles include board positions at Germantown Friends School, the International Rescue Committee's Airbel R&D division, and World Connect, Inc., where efforts center on empowering local entrepreneurs. Past leadership experiences include serving on the boards of Friends House in Santa Rosa, 10,000 Degrees, IDEO.org, The New School, and Hampshire College. An alumnus of Hampshire College, Ben Cushman is committed to fostering educational equity and sustainable community development.
