Elizabeth Lomauro Igo is an experienced professional in food engineering and culinary arts. Currently serving as the Extrusion Technology Team Lead and Process Engineer at Bühler Group since November 2021, Elizabeth has a comprehensive background with General Mills, holding positions from Engineer II to various research and development roles between September 2015 and November 2021. Notably, Elizabeth contributed to the creation of shelf stable bakery products and worked on flexible packaging for thermally processed vegetables. Earlier experience includes internships at General Mills and Mondelēz International, focusing on R&D and project engineering. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Food Process Engineering from Purdue University and an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.
