Sathish Tamilvanan began their work experience in 2015 as a Sr. Information Security Analyst at Sumeru Solutions, where they worked until November 2020. In 2016, they joined Bugcrowd as a Security Researcher, where they became one of the top 100 ranked researchers on the platform and reported vulnerabilities to over 200 different companies. Sathish also received the MVP award in 2017 and 2018 and became a certified Pentester. Currently, Sathish is a Security Engineer III at CME Group, starting in November 2020. In this role, they are responsible for conducting manual application security assessments and providing application design support and security consultations.

Sathish Tamilvanan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Kings College of Engineering, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Kalyana Sundharam Higher Secondary School from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Computer Science during their High School education.

In addition to their formal education, Sathish Tamilvanan obtained additional certifications. In November 2021, they completed the "Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme" course from eLearnSecurity. Sathish also obtained the "CPT Certified" certification from Bugcrowd in September 2021.
