Henry Adams is an accomplished leader in the Buddhist community, currently serving as the Ministers Association Chair at Buddhist Churches Of America since February 2024 and as the Resident Minister at San Mateo Buddhist Temple since October 2013. Previous roles include Supervising Minister at Buddhist Church of San Francisco and Buddhist Church of Santa Barbara, as well as Resident Minister at Oxnard Buddhist Temple. Henry has also contributed as a Coordinator for International Relations in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) and worked in various educational and administrative roles earlier in the career, including English teaching. Henry holds a Master's degree in Buddhist Studies from the University of Michigan and has pursued further education in Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as Buddhist seminary training.
