Simon Dobson is an accomplished engineering and management professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including automotive, battery systems, and test equipment manufacturing. As Managing Director of Buckleys (UVRAL) Ltd since September 2016, Simon has overseen the production of innovative test equipment for multiple industries. Simon co-founded Dobson Engineering Solutions Ltd in February 2002 and has previously held key positions such as Chief Engineer at Johnson Matthey Battery Systems and Managing Director at Magna Steyr India, where Simon managed significant teams and was responsible for engineering services and P&L. With a robust educational background including an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and an MSc in Automotive Engineering from Cranfield University, Simon has demonstrated consistent leadership and technical expertise throughout a distinguished career.
