Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions within the technology sector. Since July 2010, Chris has been working at SMART Technologies, first as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris also has teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
