Sofia Buyurgan has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Sofia began their career as a Recruiter for IMPROVED in 2000. In 2004, they transitioned to a role as an Administratief Medewerkster for IoT. Sofia then moved to a similar role at Politie Nederland in 2006. In 2007, they became a Coiffeu for My Touch Hairstyling. In 2013, they began working as a Maatschappelijk Werkster for Stichting HOOP. In 2016, they became a Verzorger for Groenhuysen. In 2018, they were a Winkelmanager for Vanessa. Most recently, they have been a Recruiter for Bubty since 2022.

Sofia Buyurgan's education history includes four distinct periods of study. From 1989 to 1993, they attended Merwesteyn and earned their Mavo/Havo degree in Bestuur van basis-, lagere en hogere middelbare onderwijsinstellingen. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Schildersopleiding Den Haag and earned their MBO degree in Schilderwerken / Schilderen. From 1998 to 1999, they attended Microdesk Rijswijk and earned their MBO degree in Administratie- en secretariaatsdiensten. Lastly, from 2007 to 2009, they attended Kappersacademie Hair Point and earned their MBO degree in Cosmotologie / Nagelstyling / Haarstyling.
