Yakup Tan began their work experience in 2006 as an intern in Garantie Controlling at Volkswagen Group. In 2010, they joined BTC Europe and held various roles including Project Assistant for SAP Migration, Business Expert Master Data, Local Controller for Central Europe, Head of Data Maintenance, and currently as Head of Business Experts.

Yakup Tan attended the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Business Science).
