Lisa Havens has extensive experience in the legal and healthcare fields, currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Baylor Scott & White Health since December 1999, with prior roles including Deputy General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer. Before joining Baylor Scott & White Health, Lisa was a partner at Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee, PLLC from July 1994 to December 1999 and worked as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas Supreme Court between July 1993 and July 1994. Additionally, Lisa has a solid foundation in nursing, having served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Methodist Hospitals and a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Administration. Lisa holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Baylor University School of Law, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Christian University.
