James Perry has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James started their career as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Landmark Acres Farm in 1990 and worked there until 1998. James then joined the Jamestown Police Department as a Police Officer, where they specialized in patrol duties and was also a member of the SWAT team. In 2006, they retired from the police department and joined the City of Rochester, where they worked as a Police Officer until 2019. In this role, they served as a trainer, counselor, and supervisor for new recruits, specializing in teaching various aspects of law enforcement.

From 2019 to 2021, James worked as the Vice President at Landmark Harvesting Inc, where they oversaw various operations related to farming. James then transitioned to the United Refining Company of Pennsylvania, Inc., where they served as a Regional Corporate Investigator. In this role, their responsibilities included leading security audits, conducting investigations into theft and criminal activity, and implementing measures to enhance security at store locations.

In 2021, James briefly worked as an Asset Protection Investigator at Saks OFF 5TH, before joining AHS Security Consulting in 2022. At AHS Security Consulting, they worked as a Private Investigator and provided services such as private investigations, security consulting, and executive protection.

Currently, James is working as the Director of Security at Bryant Safety and Security Solutions, LLC. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing security operations for a school and synagogue, which includes managing schedules, implementing safety and security improvements, and updating policies.

James Perry has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Keuka College, which they obtained from 2008 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Jamestown Community College, from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, James Perry also holds various certifications. James obtained a Class "G" Security Contractor/Investigator/Alarm Manager certification from the State of Florida in December 2021. James also holds a Class D Security license, obtained in January 2021. However, it is not specified whether James Perry has obtained a Class M Security Manager License or a Private Investigation Company license from the State of Florida.
