Lydia Giammartino has a diverse work experience in the health and wellness industry. Lydia started their career as a Paramedic at the British Columbia Ambulance Service from 2007 to 2013. Lydia then worked as a Medical Assistant and Educator at the Toronto Poly Clinic from 2015 to 2017, where they conducted patient interviews, administered IV medications, and educated patients on medical cannabis.

In 2017, Lydia transitioned to become a Student Therapist at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Lydia gained practical experience in massage therapy, which led their to work as a Registered Massage Therapist at the Yonge-Sheppard Health Centre from January to September 2019.

Subsequently, Lydia took on the role of Lead Instructor at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy/West Coast College of Massage Therapy from August 2019 to May 2020. Lydia then worked as a Registered Massage Therapist at the Dovigi Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic, Mount Sinai Hospital from March 2019 to August 2022.

Lydia also worked as a Clinic Administrator at Nexus Massage & Rehab - Yonge & Eglinton from October 2018 to March 2019. Lydia Giammartino has a diverse education history in the field of healthcare and kinesiology. Lydia earned a Diploma Summa Cum Laude in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from St. George's University from 2013 to 2015. In 2013, they also obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Kinesiology and Health Science from The University of British Columbia. Lydia's educational journey began with a Diploma in Arts and Sciences in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Langara College, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. In 2007, they received certification as a Primary Care Paramedic from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

In terms of additional certifications, Lydia is a Registered Massage Therapist, having obtained their certification from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in December 2018. Lydia also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, acquired in March 2015. Furthermore, they are a Basic Life Support Instructor accredited by the same institutions, achieved in July 2014.
