Sufian Zayed has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Sufian started working at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview in 2013 as a Family Medicine Resident. After completing their residency in 2016, they moved to Mayo Clinic where they worked as a Family Physician until 2018. In 2018, they joined the University of Ottawa as a University Lecturer and also started working at µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð as a Family Physician. Sufian took on various roles at µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð, including Acting Medical Director of Elisabeth µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð LTC and Medical Director of µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð Family Medicine Centre. In 2019, they joined The Ottawa Hospital as a Hospitalist. Since 2020, they have been serving as the Medical Director of µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð ALC and Chief Medical Informatics Officer at µþ°ù³Ü²âè°ù±ð.

Sufian Zayed completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the University of Ottawa from 2005 to 2009. Sufian then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Saint James School of Medicine from 2009 to 2013.
