Felix Sommer is an experienced data scientist currently working at Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar since April 2023. Previously, Felix served as a postdoctoral researcher and project liaison officer at UMONS and Trusted AI Labs from April 2021 to March 2023, focusing on data mining, recommender systems, and social networks. Felix's academic background includes significant roles at Université catholique de Louvain, where Felix was an invited lecturer, postdoctoral researcher, project manager, and PhD student from 2011 to 2021. Felix also contributed as a scientific consultant at EBS Institute for Supply Chain Management, developing a game theoretic model for long-term supplier relationships and designing training for procurement managers. Early experience includes research assistance at University of Paderborn and IT support at Aegis Media. Felix holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Louvain School of Management and a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur from Paderborn University, complemented by an engineer's degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Linköping University.
