Michael Schroeder has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael started their career in 1988 as a Pre-College Program Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. In 1990, they worked as a Law Clerk at both McCormick Barstow and Sauk County. From 1993 to 1998, Michael worked as an Associate Attorney at Crivello, Carlson, Mentkowski & Steeves, S.C., where they handled insurance defense litigation and also developed a business practice. Following that, they served as a Legal Counsel at Quad/Graphics from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, Michael joined Boy Scouts of America as a Friends of Scouting role until 2008. In the same year, they became a part of BRP, initially as a Senior Legal Counsel, then as a Managing Counsel, and currently as the Director of Legal Services. In their current role, they focus on providing efficient legal support within budget for BRP's global organization.
Michael Schroeder earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Philosophy from Marquette University in 1986. Michael further pursued their education at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law between 1990 and 1993. During their academic journey, they also studied College Religious at St. Francis Seminary from 1982 to 1985 and High School Religious at Holy Name Seminary in 1979 and 1980.
