Joshua Kennedy serves as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Brown University since December 2016. Previously, Joshua held the position of Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Sonian Capital Management from May 2011 to December 2016. Prior to that, Joshua worked at Liberty Square Asset Management as an Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager from July 2005 to April 2011, focusing on long/short equity strategies with an emphasis on Asia as well as managing a global deep value small-cap fund. Joshua's career in finance began as a News Reader for The Wall Street Journal Online from 1998 to 2001. Education includes an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business (2003-2005) and a BA in Religious Studies from Brown University (1993-1997).
