Michael Gilley has over 20 years of work experience, with roles in application development and leadership positions. Michael started their career in the US Army as a Linguist and Intelligence Analyst from 1996 to 2000. In 2001, they joined Hobbs Group LLC as an Application Developer until 2004. Michael then moved to Beecher Carlson, where they served as the Director of Application Development from 2004 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Brown & Brown Insurance as the Director of Application Development for the Beecher Carlson Profit Center. Michael later took on additional responsibilities as the Director of Application Development for the Retail/Wholesale Divisions from 2018 to 2019, and currently holds the position of Director of Application Development for the Retail Division.

Michael Gilley obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
