Kurt Bestul is an experienced Cyber Security Analyst and Director with a robust background in information security, network services, and IT infrastructure management. Currently at Brown and Caldwell since August 2018, Kurt has held multiple roles including Cyber Security Analyst and Director of Cyber Security. Prior experience includes serving as Information Security Technical Lead at Dean Heath Plan, Inc. and Lead Security & Network Services Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Colleges & University of Wisconsin-Extension. Kurt’s career also encompasses various positions in IT management and engineering, including roles at WorldCom, Colorado MicroDisplay, and Honeywell. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel University and a 2-year Diploma in Electro-mechanical Technology from Hennepin Technical College.
