Stephen Santos is the Executive Director and Director of Biomedical Engineering at Broward Health since December 2020. Prior to this role, Stephen was the System Director of Clinical Engineering at ABM Industries, overseeing operations for Memorial Healthcare Systems, which includes over 1,900 beds and 39,000 devices. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Operations Manager at Joe DiMaggio Childrenā€™s Hospital and a Regional Manager, responsible for multiple Clinical Engineering programs across the Mid-Atlantic and New England. Stephen served in the US Navy until retirement, held positions at Philips Medical Systems and Technology in Medicine, and holds an MBA from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Technology Management from Indiana University.
