Steve Mauro is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the fire protection industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at Brooks Equipment since January 2013, Steve has held various leadership positions, including Director of Strategic Accounts and Florida Territory Account Manager. Prior to this, Steve was the Director of the Fire Equipment Division at Brooks Equipment from April 2018 to January 2022 and worked as the National Sales Manager at Brooks Equipment LLC from August 2006 to August 2010. As the Founder of 1st Fire Protection from February 2004 to August 2006, Steve demonstrated entrepreneurial skills, following a role as Business Development Manager at SimplexGrinnell from November 2001 to January 2004, and a long tenure as Northern California Region Manager at FireMaster - MPC from October 1977 to November 2001. Steve holds educational experience from Los Angeles Valley College from 1987 to 1988.
