Pamela Mattera is an experienced professional in museum and arts program management, currently serving as an Arts Program Fellow at the Kenneth Rainin Foundation since May 2022. Mattera has a long-standing association with the Brooklyn Museum as a Membership Consultant and previously held the position of Director of Membership and Annual Fund. Prior roles include Membership Manager at the New Museum of Contemporary Art and Assistant Membership Officer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Earlier career achievements at the Chinati Foundation as Senior Manager for Institutional Advancement and Annual Giving Manager, as well as at the Tenement Museum as Membership Coordinator and Associate, further demonstrate extensive expertise in membership and fundraising within the cultural sector. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College, along with being a NextGen Fellow from the Museum Leadership Institute.
