Deborah Washington possesses extensive experience in developmental disabilities services and rehabilitation counseling. Currently serving as Chief Program Officer at EPIC, LI since September 2024, Deborah oversees programs dedicated to individuals with developmental disabilities. At the Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service since December 1998, Deborah has held multiple roles, including Director of Placement Services, managing various programs related to evaluation and job placement. Previous positions include Senior Vice President at Little Flower Children and Family Services and Assistant Vice President at Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services, overseeing numerous programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Deborah's background also includes experience as a Division Director at Brooklyn Community Services, a Regional Manager at Therapy Resource Center, and an Adjunct Professor at LaGuardia Community College, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in program oversight, staff training, and multidisciplinary team leadership. Deborah holds two master's degrees in Education and Rehabilitation Counseling and two bachelor's degrees in Psychology from CUNY institutions.
