Rowan Blaik is an experienced horticulturist with a strong background in botanic garden management and landscape development. Currently serving as Vice President of Horticulture at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since January 2017, responsibilities include leading the development and curation of plant collections. Previously, Rowan held various roles at English Heritage, including Head Gardener at Down House, where management of the historic estate encompassed horticulture, staff supervision, and visitor operations. With earlier positions at notable institutions such as Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and experience in landscape visualization and horticultural education, Rowan combines practical expertise with advanced educational qualifications, including a Master's degree in Advanced Spatial Analysis and Visualisation from UCL.
