McVaigh John currently serves as Vice President of Construction at Brookfield Renewable U.S., a role held since January 2023. With extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, McVaigh has been with Brookfield Renewable since March 2008, progressing from Senior Director of US Construction to other prominent positions, and now leads a team focused on renewable energy construction and repowering activities with a significant development pipeline. Prior professional roles include various positions at Boralex Inc. and Adirondack Hydro Development Corp, as well as a tenure in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate. McVaigh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 2001 and 2006.
