Alexis Teevens is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and developing curriculum at Brooke Charter Schools since July 2013. As a 5th and 7th Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher, Alexis created and implemented engaging unit and lesson plans while fostering a positive classroom environment through collaboration with co-teachers. Previously, Alexis served as an Associate Teacher, contributing to classroom culture and introducing a typing program for middle schoolers. Alexis also has tutoring experience from Franklin & Marshall College, where support was provided to peers in writing, and held the role of Operations Coordinator during the Teach For America Tulsa Institute. Alexis completed a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Franklin & Marshall College in 2013.
