Chris Matthews

Global DTC Channel Director at Brompton Bicycle

Chris Matthews has a strong background in e-commerce and digital trading. Chris most recently worked at Brompton Bicycle as the Global DTC Channel Director, where they led the newly created DTC division and was responsible for driving the company's 5-year DTC vision. Prior to that, they served as the Head of E-commerce, growing the e-commerce business from 2% to 18% of total revenue and expanding its presence globally. Chris has also held positions at Wilko, Travis Perkins plc, Bathrooms.com, Sodimac Colombia Homecenter, and Wickes, gaining experience in digital trading, category management, and new business development.

Chris Matthews attended Alliance Manchester Business School from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a 2.1 degree in Business Studies. Chris later pursued an MBA Full time program at The University of Manchester from 2015 to 2017.
