Gareth Earle-Payne is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the engineering and military sectors. As the Engineering Director at Brodie Engineering Ltd since May 2023, Gareth previously served as Head of Engineering and Fleet Engineering Manager at Caledonian Sleeper from July 2017 to April 2023. Prior to this, Gareth dedicated over a decade to the Royal Navy, culminating in the role of Nuclear Safety Assurance Manager, where responsibilities included regulatory compliance audits and safety assurance at HMNB Clyde. Additional roles in the Royal Navy included Deputy Marine Engineer Officer and Waterfront Project Manager, among others, where Gareth honed project management and technical advisory skills. Gareth holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Nuclear Reactor Technology from the University of Surrey.
