Serene Aw is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and media distribution across Greater China. Currently serving as the Country Representative for the Broadcasting Board of Governors since March 2008, Serene Aw manages the distribution of programs and content, negotiates licensing agreements, and organizes marketing events. Previously, Serene Aw held the position of Business Development Director at Wisers Information Ltd., establishing a network within government agencies and securing media permits in China. Additional experience includes roles at iMagic Systems Limited, Sil-Metropole Ltd., and Wharf Cable Television, focusing on innovative communication platforms, film rights distribution, and project management in creative advertising. Serene Aw holds multiple degrees from the Royal College of Art and a diploma in Film Making and Creative Advertising from Barking College of Technology.
